“Talk. They Hear You.”

Talking with kids and youth.

 “Talk. They Hear You.” is a national public education campaign from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that helps parents and caregivers talk with children early and often about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs.

The campaign provides:

  • Tools and tips to start age-appropriate conversations.

  • Resources like conversation guides, videos, and a mobile app.

  • Encouragement to build trust and keep lines of communication open.
