Working together in substance use prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery
CVPC builds strong, healthy communities free from the harms of opioid and other substance misuse.
Our Mission: We lead a collaborative network of partners to address substance use in order to enhance community health and resilience.
Our Vision: Central Vermont is a strong, healthy community free from the harms of substance use.
We take an innovative approach. Everyone is at the table.
And our table is always growing! CVPC brings together a broad group of partners who work in the field of substance use disorders including the areas of prevention, treatment, recovery, harm reduction, disease prevention, and workforce development. It also includes local law enforcement, EMS, and organizations that focus on mental health, housing, the justice system, and community re-entry.
Growing our prevention capacity.
After a decade of work in harm reduction, treatment, and recovery, CVPC is growing its capacity for prevention work with youth through a 5-year Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) from SAMHSA titled FUTURE VT. Click the button below to learn more!

“Residents of Washington County are fortunate to have so many great partners working on this effort.”
